Biography
Andrea is from the California bay area where she resides with her husband, Chris, and 8-year old son, Jase. While working on her BS in business management over 19 year ago, she stumbled into the world of aquatic invasive species, and never looked back. Her experience includes managing a team of aquatic professionals for over 15 years, specializing in the distribution of chemical and biological control products for algae and aquatic vegetation in the lake, pond and irrigation markets of the western United States. She is currently the Regional Team Leader – West for SePRO Corporation. Between 2011 and 2017, she served two separate terms on the WAPMS board of directors as Secretary/Treasurer, for a total of five years. In 2018 she served as program chair and in 2019, as president of the society. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, wine tasting, and camping with her family in the beautiful California weather.
