2011 WAPMS Meeting and Hotel Information
The 30th Annual Meeting will be held on the outskirts of Denver, Colorado, from March 28 to March 30, 2011 at the Westin Westminster (10600 Westminster Blvd, Westminster, CO 80020). Please revisit this site in the future for updates!
The Western Aquatic Plant Management Society (WAPMS) is the western chapter of the Aquatic Plant Management Society – an international organization.
The purpose of the WAPMS is to:
- Promote the management of non-native and nuisance aquatic vegetation.
- Encourage scientific research.
- Promote student scholarships.
- Provide scientific advancement and knowledge to its members.
- Extend and develop public interest in aquatic plant management activities.
WAPMS members include individuals from the private, public, and academic sectors with an interest in all aspects of aquatic plant management.
WAPMS produces a bi-annual newsletter (sent electronically), holds an annual conference, and maintains a membership list. Members also receive the Aquatics Magazine.
